Around Lake Millstätter See, the Millstätter See Inclusive Card (MIC) is the main guest card.

It includes:

• free admission to lidos
• access to cultural and nature experiences
• mobility within the region / from 1 November, free public transport throughout Carinthia

From 1 November, accommodation providers in the Millstätter See – Bad Kleinkirchheim – Nockberge region that have not previously issued the MIC will issue the ZEITpass Card.

For excursions throughout Carinthia, it is worth combining the MIC with the Kärnten Card.

In Bad Kleinkirchheim and the Nockberge mountains, the Sonnenschein Card is the main guest card.

It includes:

• guided hiking and cycling activities
• benefits at the thermal spas
• a wide range of activity programmes
• from 1 November, free public transport throughout Carinthia

From 1 November, accommodation providers that have not previously issued the Sonnenschein Card will issue the ZEITpass Card.

For mountain lift rides and excursions throughout Carinthia, it is worth combining the Sonnenschein Card with the Kärnten Card.

The ZEITpass Card is the new Regional Card for the Millstätter See – Bad Kleinkirchheim – Nockberge region. It will be available from 1 November 2026, with a focus on free travel by bus and train throughout Carinthia.

From 1 November, the ZEITpass Card will be issued by MBN accommodation providers that do not issue the MIC, Sonnenschein Card or Butlercard. This means that from 1 November, all guests will have access to a Regional Card with free public transport.

As with the MIC, Sonnenschein Card and Butlercard, the card is issued automatically. It is based on the electronic guest registration completed by your accommodation provider.

From 1 November, the Regional Cards also serve as your public transport ticket throughout Carinthia. Nockmobil and Postbus Shuttle services can also be used for an additional convenience surcharge.

From 1 November, all four Regional Cards include free public transport throughout Carinthia. The MIC, Sonnenschein Card and Butlercard also include additional local experiences and benefits. The ZEITpass Card focuses on mobility.
