The ‘Kärnten’ glides gently across the mirror-smooth waters of Lake Millstätter See, heading for Lagger Bay. On the northern shore, modern houses alternate with historic summer resort villas, and just a bike ride away is the next lake, Lake Brennsee, which invites you to enjoy a lakeside holiday in Austria.
Lake Millstätter See, Lake Brennsee, Lake Maltschacher See and Lake Flatschacher See are largely unspoilt. Their lakeside paths are popular promenades and some lakes can also be circumnavigated by bike. The surrounding mountains offer discovery tours that lead far into the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Carinthian Nockberge.

There are currently no bans on stand-up paddling on Austrian waters. A SUP tour can be undertaken on Lake Millstätter See as well as on Lake Brennsee, Lake Maltschacher See and Lake Flatschacher See without any restrictions.
