Learning to ski and snowboard becomes child's play – with the right support! In all five winter sports centers in the region, highly trained ski instructors are on hand to guide beginners and children step by step on the slopes. From the first ascent on the magic carpet to the first turns, there are plenty of orientation aids: Various "wild creatures" figures along the route make learning fun and entertaining.

Practical: The ski rental is usually located directly at the ski schools. This means that you don't need your own equipment - and if your ski boots are too tight, they can easily be exchanged for a larger model.

Thanks to the gentle topography of the Carinthian Nockberge mountains, the ski slopes in Bad Kleinkirchheim, on the Turracher Höhe, on the Falkert and the Hochrindl offer ideal conditions for practising your first turns. Returning skiers can also easily find their way back onto the slopes here. The children's area on the Goldeck sports mountain is also particularly snow-sure - it is the highest children's area in Carinthia.
