Tip: Guests can use the Carinthia train station shuttle for the last few kilometres to their accommodation at a reasonable price (e.g. only around €3 per journey with the Millstätter See Inclusive Card or Sonnenschein Card)
Future turbo: the Koralm railway
Thanks to the Koralm Tunnel (Koralm Railway), the connection between Graz and Spittal will be reduced to 1 hour, 45 minutes (instead of the previous 3 hours, 30 minutes for the fastest connection). Full commissioning is planned for December 2025, including dense S-Bahn intervals in the central Carinthia region.
