Success stories: Where Carinthia's ski stars began

Carinthia's ski mountains have been shaping talent for generations. Names such as Franz Klammer, Marco Schwarz, Matthias Mayer and Adrian Pertl stand for technique, courage and a fine feel for snow. Their paths are rooted in a region that makes learning possible: on the southern balcony of the Alps.
The Nockberge mountains, the long slopes around Bad Kleinkirchheim, the Turracher Höhe and the quiet slopes on the Hochrindl offer exactly the right mix of even gradients, clear sightlines and short distances to accelerate progress. The Goldeck sports mountain at the foothills of the Nockberge mountains complements the setting with wide slopes for clean turns. An environment that supports the basics and allows self-confidence to grow.
