The Lake Millstätter See - Bad Kleinkirchheim - Nockberge region is working towards being awarded the Austrian Ecolabel for Tourism Regions. This recognition stands for future-oriented tourism: resource-conserving, high quality and in close partnership with regional businesses and protected areas.
As part of a LEADER funding project, we are working together with the NDK - Sustainable Destination Development Carinthia, the UNESCO Carinthian Nock Mountains Biosphere Reserve and other partner regions - with one goal: to set the course for a future fit for grandchildren.
In dialog with other regions, companies and protected areas, a strong network for an environment worth living in is being created.
Whether enjoyment, nature or community togetherness: our region focuses on projects that combine responsibility and quality of life. From culinary experiences to nature-oriented retreats - this is where impulses for a future fit for grandchildren are created.
